Knowledge assessment of pharmaceutical sciences (KAPS) pharmacist exam Australia
The Australian Pharmacy Council (APC) conducts the knowledge assessment of pharmaceutical sciences (KAPS) exam to invite skilled pharmacists to practice as registered pharmacists and gain experience in Australia.
KAPS exam is eligible to all international pharmacists who have finished an accredited pharmacy programme after January 1, 2006, that included at least four years of a full-time degree course. A Stream A eligibility letter is required to determine whether or not you are eligible to take the KAPS exam.

The KAPS exam covers the following four domains from the National Competency Standards Framework for pharmacists in Australia in 2010:
Domain 1– Pharmaceutics
Domain 2– Therapeutics
Domain 3– Pharmaceutical Chemistry
Domain 4- Pharmacology and Physiology
Paper 1–Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Physiology, Pathophysiology and Pharmacology
Paper 2 –Pharmaceutics and Therapeutics
Examination question types of questions may either stand-alone or be associated with a patient profile.
KAPS exam pass percentage?
To pass the exam, you need: a mark of at least 50% in all subsections of the exam. an overall mark of at least 50%.
How many questions are on the KAPS exam?
The KAPS Examination is 100-questions long and candidates have 2 hours to complete it. Due to the frequent changes to the scope and content within the practice of pharmacy in Australia, the APC does not guarantee that the information in this paper is accurate or relevant once published publicly.
Note:- KAPS exam is conducted thrice a year in some of the major cities across the world.
